Ligue 1 (Week 9) : Nice beats Lyon 2-0
FRANCE, Oct. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 9: Four wins in a row for Nice. After their success against Monaco, Nancy and Lorient, Nice continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Lyon this Friday.
Nice dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Paul Baysse in the 5th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Nice players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Seri Jean in the 76th minute.
OGC Nice remains in first place with 23 points from 9 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up AS Monaco.
