Ligue 1 (Week 9) : Toulouse beats Monaco 3-1
FRANCE, Oct. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 9: After two straigth victories against Angers and Metz, Monaco lost 3-1 against Toulouse.
Martin Braithwaite scored dual goals
Monaco had started off well by taking the lead in the 4th minute with a goal by forward Valère Germain. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Toulouse players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Trejo '65 and Braithwaite '84, '87).
AS Monaco remains in second place with 19 points from 9 games, one point behind OGC Nice, which has a game in hand.
