Ligue 1 (Week 10) : Monaco beats Montpellier 6-2
FRANCE, Oct. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 10: After losing 3-1 to Toulouse on October 14, Monaco returned to winning ways with a 6-2 victory over Montpellier this Friday.
Montpellier midfielder Ryad Boudebouz opened the score in the 10th minute, before seeing Monaco catch up in the 36th minute thanks to Radamel Falcao penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Monacos eventually won the game in the second period with five more goals by Mbappe Kylian ('49), Jemerson Nascimento ('64), Germain ('75), Lemar ('76) and Traore Adama ('90).
AS Monaco climbed to second place with 22 points from 10 games, only one point behind OGC Nice, which has a game in hand.
