FRANCE, Oct. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 10: After their 1-1 draw against Dijon on October 16, Saint-Etienne returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Caen this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Saivet ('49) and Veretout ('58).
Saint-Etienne climbed to 7th place with 16 points from 10 games, only one point behind Rennes.
