Ligue 1 (Week 9) : Angers defeats Bastia 2-1
FRANCE, Oct. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 9: After their 1-1 draw against Marseille on October 2, SCO returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Bastia this Saturday.
Famara Diedhiou scored dual goals
Angers forward Famara Diedhiou opened the score in the 26th minute, before seeing Bastia catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Thievy Bifouma. 1-1 at half time. SCO eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Diedhiou in the 56th minute.
Angers SCO climbed to 8th place with 13 points from 9 games, tie on points with Bordeaux, which has a game in hand.
