FRANCE, Oct. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 9: The match between Rennes and Bordeaux ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Rennes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to German defender Diego Contento into his own net in the 44th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Bordeaux with a saving goal from Bordeaux defender Nicolas Pallois in the 66th minute.
Bordeaux remains in 6th place with 14 points from 9 games, tie on points with Guingamp.
