FRANCE, Jan. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 21: Three wins in a row for Monaco. After their success against Caen and Marseille, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 4-0 victory over Lorient this Sunday.
Boschilia Gabriel and Valère Germain scored dual goals
Monaco dominated the first half thanks to goals from Boschilia Gabriel ('24, '28) and Germain ('37). Leading 3-0 at the break, Monaco players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Germain in the 59th minute.
AS Monaco remains in first place with 48 points from 21 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up OGC Nice.
