Ligue 1 (Week 35) : Lille beats Montpellier 3-0
FRANCE, Apr. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 35: Two wins in a row for Lille. After their 3-0 win against Guingamp on April 22, Lille continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-0 victory over Montpellier this Saturday.
Lille dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Nicolas de Roussel de Préville in the 13th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Lille players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Xeka '56 and Terrier Martin '75).
Lille climbed to 11st place with 43 points from 35 games, only one point behind Guingamp.
