FRANCE, Aug. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Lyon. After their 4-0 win against RC Strasbourg on August 5, “Les Gones” continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Rennes this Friday.
Rennes made Lyon doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Depay Memphis ('57) and Diaz Mariano ('74).
Olympique Lyonnais remains in first place with 6 points from 2 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Troyes AC.
