FRANCE, Aug. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 2: After their 2-2 draw against Angers on August 6, Bordeaux returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Metz this Saturday.
Bordeaux dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Vada Valentin in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bordeaux players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sankharé in the 65th minute.
Bordeaux climbed to fourth place with 4 points from 2 games, 2 points behind Saint-Etienne.
