FRANCE, Aug. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 3: Three wins in a row for Monaco. After their success against Toulouse and Dijon, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 1-0 victory over Metz this Friday.
Metz made the Monacos doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Colombian forward Radamel Falcao in the 78th minute.
AS Monaco climbed to first place with 9 points from 3 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Olympique Lyonnais, which has a game in hand.
