FRANCE, Aug. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 3: The match between Montpellier and RC Strasbourg ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
RC Strasbourg players started off well by taking the lead thanks to RC Strasbourg forward Idriss Saadi in the 24th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Montpellier with a saving goal from Montpellier defender Daniel Congré in the 72nd minute.
Montpellier HSC climbed to 9th place with 4 points from 3 games, tie on points with Troyes AC.
