Ligue 1 (Week 3) : Marseille and Angers play to a 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Aug. 20, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 3: Marseille was held to a 1-1 draw by Angers on Sunday.
Marseille players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Cameroonian forward Clinton N'Jie in the 17th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Angers with a saving goal from Angers forward Karl Toko Ekambi in the 70th minute.
Olympique de Marseille remains in fourth place with 7 points from 3 games, tie on points with Olympique Lyonnais.
