FRANCE, Aug. 20, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 3: After losing 1-0 to Montpellier on August 12 and 0-1 to Saint-Etienne on August 12, Caen returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Lille this Sunday.
Caen dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Damien Da Silva in the 5th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Caen players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Santini Ivan in the 69th minute.
Caen climbed to 13rd place with 3 points from 3 games, tie on points with Toulouse and OGC Nice.
