FRANCE, Aug. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Saint-Etienne. After their 1-0 win against Nice on August 5, Saint-Etienne continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 1-0 victory over Caen this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Saint-Etienne midfielder Romain Hamouma in the 67th minute.
Saint-Etienne climbed to third place with 6 points from 2 games, tie on points with Olympique de Marseille.
