FRANCE, Aug. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 3: After losing 1-0 to Saint-Etienne on August 11 and 1-2 to Troyes on August 11, Nice bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Guingamp this Saturday.
Nice dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Alassane Pléa in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Nice players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Walter in the 48th minute.
OGC Nice climbed to 11st place with 3 points from 3 games, only one point behind RC Strasbourg Alsace.
