Ligue 2 (Week 3) : Sochaux defeats Clermont 2-1
FRANCE, Aug. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 3: After their 0-0 draw against Valenciennes on August 5, “Les Lionceaux” bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Clermont this Friday.
Sochaux forward Robinet Thomas opened the score in the 38th minute, before seeing Clermont catch up in the 40th minute thanks to Rémy Dugimont. 1-1 at half time. “Les Lionceaux” eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Andriatsima Faneva in the 66th minute.
FC Sochaux-Montbeliard remains in second place with 7 points from 3 games, tie on points with Stade Brest.
