Ligue 2 (Week 3) : Lens beats Nimes 2-0
FRANCE, Aug. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 3: After their 0-0 draw against Niort on August 5 and 2-2 draw against Tours on August 5, Lens returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Nimes this Monday.
Lens dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Fortune Kevin in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Lens players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bostock John in the 53rd minute.
Lens climbed to fifth place with 5 points from 3 games, 2 points behind Le Havre AC.
