Ligue 2 (Week 7) : Sochaux and Reims play to a 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Sep. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 7: The match between Reims and Sochaux ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Friday.
Reims players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Turan Atila in the 37th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Sochaux with a saving goal from Sochaux midfielder Florian Martin in the 74th minute.
Reims climbed to second place with 13 points from 7 games, tie on points with Amiens Sporting Club, which has a game in hand.
