Ligue 2 (Week 10) : Lens beats Red Star 2-0
FRANCE, Sep. 30, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 10: Three wins in a row for Lens. After their success against Orleans and Valenciennes, Lens continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-0 victory over Red Star this Friday.
Lens dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Lopez Cristian in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Lens players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bostock John on penalty in the 47th minute.
Lens climbed to fourth place with 17 points from 10 games, only one point behind Amiens Sporting Club.
