UNITED STATES, Sep. 17, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for Portland Timbers. After their 1-0 win against Real Salt Lake on September 10, the Timbers continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 2-1 victory over Philadelphia Union this Saturday.

45 minutes of play and neither Portland Timbers nor Philadelphia Union have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Valeri Diego ('46) and Adi Fanendo ('53).

Philadelphia Union remains in 8th place with 41 points from 30 games, 3 points behind Real Salt Lake.
