PORT MORESBY, Jun. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Papua New Guinea 2016 : Papua New Guinea defeated Samoa by a big score of 8-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a OFC Nations Cup group stage game on Sunday afternoon at the Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby.
Gunemba scored tripple goals
Papua New Guinea dominated the first half thanks to goals from Foster ('13) and Gunemba ('33). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Papua New Guineans further widened their lead in the second period by scoring six times (Foster '51, Dabinyaba '58, '74, Gunemba '63, '83 and Upaiga '67).
