PORT MORESBY, May. 28, 2016 (AMP) — Papua New Guinea 2016 : The Solomon Islands defeated Vanuatu by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a OFC Nations Cup group stage game on Saturday night at the Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby.
All the action happened in the first half, with Donga goal in the 19th minute.
The result put the Solomon Islander second in Group B with 3 points. In their next game, the Solomon Islands will meet the Fiji at the Sir John Guise Stadium on May 31, while Vanuatu will face New Zealand.
