PORT MORESBY, Jun. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Papua New Guinea 2016 : New Zealand defeated the Solomon Islands by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a OFC Nations Cup group stage game on Saturday night at the Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby.
The Solomon Islands made the New Zealanders doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Adams with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
