PORT MORESBY, Jun. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Papua New Guinea 2016 : Vanuatu defeated the Fiji by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 2-0), in a OFC Nations Cup group stage game on Saturday afternoon at the Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby.
Vanuatu dominated the first half thanks to goals from Fred ('19) and Masauvakalo ('41). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Vanuatuans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by B. Kaltack on penalty in the 75th minute.
