Olympics 2016 : South Korea beats Fiji 8-0
SALVADOR, Aug. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Rio 2016 : South Korea defeated the Fiji by a big score of 8-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Olympics group stage game on Thursday night at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador.
[[Ryu Seung-woo scored tripple goals
South Korea dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by [[Ryu Seung-woo in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Koreans further widened their lead in the second period by scoring many times ([[Kwon Chang-hoon '62, '63, [[Ryu Seung-woo '63, '90, Heung-min '72/penalty and [[Suk Hyun-jun '77, '90).
The result put the Koreans top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, South Korea will meet second-placed Germany at the Arena Fonte Nova on August 7, while the Fiji will face Mexico.
