ENGLAND, Dec. 14, 2014 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 16: 6 wins in a row for Manchester United. After their success against Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Hull, Stoke City and Southampton, the Red Devils continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 3-0 victory over Liverpool this Sunday.
Manchester United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rooney ('12) and Mata ('40). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Red Devils further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Van Persie in the 71st minute.
Manchester United FC remains in third place with 31 points from 16 games, 5 points behind Manchester City FC.
