Premier League (Week 22) : Crystal Palace beats Burnley 3-2
ENGLAND, Jan. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 22: Two wins in a row for Crystal Palace. After their 2-1 win against Tottenham on January 10, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 3-2 victory over Burnley this Saturday.
Dwight Gayle scored dual goals
Burnley had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Mee ('12) and Ings ('16), while Crystal Palace only scored once Gayle ('28). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Eagles nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Puncheon '48 and Gayle '87).
Crystal Palace climbed to 12nd place with 23 points from 22 games, 4 points behind Newcastle United, which has a game in hand.
