Premier League (Week 37) : Sunderland defeats Chelsea 3-2

ENGLAND, May. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 37: After their 0-0 draw against Arsenal on April 30 and 1-1 draw against Stoke City on April 30, the Rokerites returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Chelsea this Saturday.

Chelsea had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Costa Diego ('14) and Matić ('45), while Sunderland only scored once Khazri ('41). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Rokerites nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Borini '67 and Defoe '70).

Chelsea remains in 9th place with 48 points from 36 games, 7 points behind Liverpool, which has a game in hand.
