PORTUGAL, Jan. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Nacional. After their 2-1 win against Boavista on January 11, the Alvinegros continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-2 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Sunday.
Nacional dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Joao in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Alvinegros further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Aurélio '54 and Matias '87).
FC Paços de Ferreira are down in 9th place with 23 points from 17 games, one point behind Moreirense FC.
