Primeira Liga (Week 17) : Porto beats Penafiel 3-1
PORTUGAL, Jan. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 17: Four wins in a row for Porto. After their success against Vitoria Setubal, Gil Vicente and Belenenses, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-1 victory over Penafiel this Saturday.
Porto dominated the first half thanks to goals from Herrera ('31) and Martinez ('34). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Torres in the 62nd minute.
FC Porto remains in second place with 40 points from 17 games, 3 points behind SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
