Primeira Liga (Week 16) : Porto defeats Belenenses 3-0
PORTUGAL, Jan. 10, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 16: Three wins in a row for Porto. After their success against Vitoria Setubal and Gil Vicente, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-0 victory over Belenenses this Saturday.
Porto dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Colombian forward Martinez in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Torres '47 and Evandro '90).
FC Porto remains in second place with 37 points from 16 games, 6 points behind SL Benfica.
