Primeira Liga (Week 16) : Estoril and Moreirense play to a 1-1 draw
PORTUGAL, Jan. 9, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 16: The match between Estoril and Moreirense ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Estoril players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Estoril defender Fernandes in the 38th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Moreirense with a saving goal from Moreirense midfielder Vítor Gomes in the 46th minute.
Moreirense FC remains in 9th place with 21 points from 16 games, one point behind FC Paços de Ferreira, which has a game in hand.
