Primeira Liga (Week 15) : Sporting defeats Estoril 3-0
PORTUGAL, Jan. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 15: Two wins in a row for Sporting Lisbon. After their 0-1 win against Nacional on December 21, the Sportinguistas continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-0 victory over Estoril this Saturday.
Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Silva in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Slimani '57 and Silva '85/penalty).
Sporting Clube de Portugal climbed to third place with 30 points from 15 games, only one point behind FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
