Primeira Liga (Week 15) : Porto beats Gil Vicente 5-1
PORTUGAL, Jan. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 15: Two wins in a row for Porto. After their 4-0 win against Vitoria Setubal on December 19, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 5-1 victory over Gil Vicente this Saturday.
Porto dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian midfielder Casemiro in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Indi '55, Brahimi '70, Torres '80 and Martinez '87).
FC Porto remains in second place with 34 points from 15 games, 3 points behind SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
