Primeira Liga (Week 15) : Moreirense defeats Boavista 3-0
PORTUGAL, Jan. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 15: Two wins in a row for Moreirense. After their 2-0 win against Nacional on December 20, the Verdes-e-Brancos continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-0 victory over Boavista this Saturday.
Moreirense dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Iuri Medeiros in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Verdes-e-Brancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Martins Rafael '50 and Gomes Vitor '77/penalty).
Moreirense FC climbed to 11st place with 17 points from 15 games, only one point behind CS Maritimo.
