Primeira Liga (Week 22) : Estoril defeats Tondela 2-1
PORTUGAL, Feb. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 22: After losing 1-3 to Porto on February 8 and 2-0 to Braga on February 8, the Canaries returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Tondela this Sunday.
Junior Nathan opened the score in the 10th minute on penalty, before seeing Estoril catch up in the 18th minute thanks to Mendy Frederic. 1-1 at half time. The Canaries eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Thicot into his own net in the 61st minute.
GD Estoril Praia remains in 11st place with 26 points from 22 games, one point behind Vitoria FC.
