Primeira Liga (Week 22) : Porto beats Benfica 2-1
PORTUGAL, Feb. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 22: After 8 straigth victories against Rio Ave, Vitoria Guimaraes, Maritimo, Nacional, Estoril, Arouca, Moreirense and Belenenses, the Eagles lost 2-1 against Porto.
Mitroglou Kostas opened the score in the 18th minute, before seeing Porto catch up in the 28th minute thanks to Héctor Herrera. 1-1 at half time. The Dragons eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Aboubakar in the 65th minute.
SL Benfica remains in first place with 52 points from 22 games, tie on points with runner-up Sporting Clube de Portugal, which has a game in hand.
