Primeira Liga (Week 23) : Porto beats Moreirense 3-2
PORTUGAL, Feb. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for Porto. After their 1-2 win against Benfica on February 12, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-2 victory over Moreirense this Sunday.
Moreirense had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Medeiros ('10) and Espinho Fabio ('29), while Porto only scored once Layún ('42 on penalty). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Dragons nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Suk Hyun-jun '73 and Evandro Goebel '77).
FC Porto remains in third place with 52 points from 23 games, 3 points behind Sporting Clube de Portugal, which has a game in hand.
