Primeira Liga (Week 24) : Tondela beats Moreirense 2-1
PORTUGAL, Feb. 28, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 24: After losing 2-1 to Estoril on February 21 and 3-4 to Maritimo on February 21, the Auriverdes returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Moreirense this Sunday.
Moreirense forward Martins Rafael opened the score in the 11th minute, before seeing Tondela catch up in the 25th minute thanks to Junior Nathan penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Auriverdes eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Martins Rafael into his own net in the 60th minute.
Moreirense FC are down in 15th place with 23 points from 24 games, one point behind União da Madeira, which has a game in hand.
