Primeira Liga (Week 24) : Nacional defeats Paços de Ferreira 3-0
PORTUGAL, Feb. 26, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 24: After their 1-1 draw against Vitoria Setubal on February 21, the Alvinegros returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Friday.
Nacional dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Baixinho Marco in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Alvinegros further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Correia Rui '72 and Aurélio '76).
FC Paços de Ferreira remains in 8th place with 31 points from 24 games, 2 points behind Vitoria SC, which has a game in hand.
