PORTUGAL, Mar. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 26: After losing 0-1 to Benfica on March 5, the Sportinguistas returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Estoril this Saturday.
Islam Slimani scored dual goals
Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Slimani ('5, '45). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Sporting Clube de Portugal climbed to first place with 62 points from 26 games, one point ahead of runner-up SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
