Primeira Liga (Week 26) : Moreirense draw 2-2 with Académica
PORTUGAL, Mar. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 26: The match between Moreirense and Académica Coimbra ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Académica Coimbra players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Burkinabé forward Plange Nii in the 32nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Silva Leandro goal ('78) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Moreirense with goals by Boateng Emmanuel ('54) and Martins Rafael ('85 on penalty).
Moreirense FC remains in 14th place with 27 points from 26 games, one point behind Vitoria FC.
