Primeira Liga (Week 27) : Nacional beats Guimaraes 3-2
PORTUGAL, Mar. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 27: Four wins in a row for Nacional. After their success against Paços de Ferreira, Boavista and Rio Ave, the Alvinegros continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-2 victory over Vitoria Guimaraes this Sunday.
Soares Tiquinho scored dual goals
Vitoria Guimaraes had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Lica Carneiro ('2) and Henrique Dourado ('45 on penalty), while Nacional only scored once Correia Rui ('14). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Alvinegros nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Soares Tiquinho '52, '81).
Vitoria SC are down in 9th place with 34 points from 27 games, 2 points behind GD Estoril Praia.
