PORTUGAL, Mar. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 27: Five wins in a row for Benfica. After their success against Paços de Ferreira, União da Madeira, Sporting Lisbon and Tondela, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 1-0 victory over Boavista this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Brazilian forward Jonas Oliveira in stoppage time.
SL Benfica remains in first place with 67 points from 27 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Sporting Clube de Portugal.
