Primeira Liga (Week 4) : Sporting beats Moreirense 3-0
PORTUGAL, Sep. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 4: Four wins in a row for Sporting Lisbon. After their success against Maritimo, Paços de Ferreira and Porto, the Sportinguistas continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-0 victory over Moreirense this Saturday.
Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Martins Gelson in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Campbell Joel '52 and Dost '56).
Sporting Clube de Portugal remains in first place with 12 points from 4 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up SL Benfica.
