PORTUGAL, Sep. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 5: After two straigth victories against Estoril and Boavista, the Arcebispos lost 3-1 against Benfica.
Mitroglou Kostas scored dual goals
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mitroglou Kostas in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Fernandes Pizzi '74 and Mitroglou Kostas '78).
SL Benfica climbed to first place with 13 points from 5 games, one point ahead of runner-up Sporting Clube de Portugal.
