PORTUGAL, Oct. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 9: After their 1-1 draw against Rio Ave on October 23, the Verdes-e-Brancos bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Tondela this Saturday.
Podence Daniel opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Tondela catch up in the 18th minute thanks to Wagner. 1-1 at half time. The Verdes-e-Brancos eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Boateng Emmanuel with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Moreirense FC climbed to 15th place with 8 points from 9 games, tie on points with CD Nacional.
