PORTUGAL, Nov. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 11: After their 1-1 draw against Porto on November 6, the Eagles bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Moreirense this Sunday.
Fernandes Pizzi scored dual goals
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Fernandes Pizzi in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Fernandes Pizzi '58 and Jimenez Raul '88).
SL Benfica remains in first place with 29 points from 11 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Sporting Clube de Portugal.
