PORTUGAL, Dec. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 13: Three wins in a row for Rio Ave. After their success against Vitoria Setubal and Tondela, Rio Grande continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 victory over Arouca this Monday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Nelsinho Barbosa ('89 own) and Ronan David ('90).
Rio Ave FC remains in 6th place with 20 points from 13 games, 4 points behind Vitoria SC.
